Fans of the horror sci-fi genre have been patiently waiting for Dead Space Remake. The game launches on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC on January 27. Its release is still a few months away, but the developer has revealed the official PC system requirements anyway. Judging from the requirements, it looks like the remake is going to be heavy on the hardware.

Just like most games nowadays, Dead Space will also require Windows 10 64-bit or above. You didn’t expect anything below, did you? You will need 50 GB of free storage space and only DirectX 12 API is supported. Surprisingly, the game requires 16 GB of RAM for both minimum and recommended requirements.

To run the game at minimum settings, you will need to pair either Ryzen 5 2600x or a Core i5 8600 with a GTX 1070 or AMD RX 5700.
