DayZ released its massive Update 1.08 yesterday which added new locations, weapons, and a lighter. The update also added a few new bugs that have hindered player’s experiences. Developer Bohemia Interactive has already released a hotfix patch that addresses these bugs.

The patch released today is numbered Update 1.17. From now on, you cannot place tents from large height differences. Your weapons will no longer break when you load a bullet and stacking up wooden bark in the fireplace is now possible. Speaking of the fireplace, now you cannot attach four or more pieces of cooking equipment to it.

Item split in the inventory will have a proper weight and the ruined radiator in the car cannot be refilled anymore. The update also made one more change: sceneComplexity values in profile files are clamped. This means that the player cannot set custom values anymore.

The complete patch notes of the update are mentioned below and on the official site. You can also check out our previous article about DayZ's massive update 1.08. It added tons of new content that you might be interested in.
