Cyberpunk 2077 has somehow redeemed itself from a buggy and messy launch. This is evident by its “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam. Although you can attribute the influx to the current 50% discount, the title has changed for the better since its release.

Buggy Start

Cyberpunk 2077 had a very rough launch. The game was so buggy that it prompted Sony to remove it temporarily from the Playstation Store until most of the issues are ironed out.

One of the most notable is the infamous car glitch where the vehicle would act weird after colliding with something. There are other problems as well, like NPCs walking on air.

Despite the horrid glitches, Cyberpunk 2077 is now more playable than it was almost a year ago. This is just a testament to developer CD Projekt Red’s commitment to fixing everything since they’ve created so much hype by teasing this way back in May 2012.

Better Than Ever

Some users on Steam are now recommending Cyberpunk 2077, particularly to those who were holding back due to the problems this title once had.

User @Raison said that anyone hating the game at this point is considered a part of a bandwagon. They went on to say that the bugs are not as bad as other AAA games, and the story and gameplay are great.

Another user said that Night City is one of the most visually stunning environments they have seen. On top of that, the story is compelling and the game has some pretty interesting mechanics.

User @Shaggs opined that the game has come a long way since its release, with a huge world and tons of great quests to complete. They added that even though things can still be improved, overall, they are loving it.

Aside from bug fixes and improvements, people can expect a lot of new content, including a free DLC in the future. So, those still hesitating can perhaps think about getting the title now as it is offered at a discount.

What do you think? Would you recommend Cyberpunk 2077 in its current state or not? Are there things you want the developers to add or improve upon?
