Amazon Games is getting serious in the video game industry and the company has finally released it's AAA PvP/E shooter, Crucible, on Steam. Crucible is a team-based shooter that has 10 players on two teams fight each other and also the wildlife on the map.

Crucible features characters called Hunters with special abilities and weapons. The more a Hunter is played, the faster they level up and upgrade their abilities.

Earlier today, Amazon revealed that the pre-season for Crucible will kick-off today and it is supposed to last for around eight weeks before Season 1 begins. Anyone that logs into Crucible before June 2 will receive an early adopter gift of 1,000 Credits. The Credits can be used to buy in-game cosmetics like weapon and character skins and emotes. There's also a pre-season battle pass that can be bought for 950 Credits. The pre-season battle pass allows players to complete several challenges and win rewards, which include weapon and character customization options.

At launch, players will be able to hop into three game modes - 4v4, 8v8, and a unique mode that Amazon calls Alpha Hunt. The Alpha Hunt mode will pit eight duo teams against each other and the last team that comes on top wins the game.

The system requirement for Crucible are as follows:

OS: Windows 7 64-bit and DX11
GPU: GTX 660 or ATI Radeon HD 7850 with 2GB Ram
