Crash Bandicoot is back on top with the release of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. To celebrate the massive sales, Activision is releasing some bonus DLC for free for a limited time, alongside a new app, a book and more.

The DLC, called Stormy Ascent, was a previously scrapped level for Crash Bandicoot that has since been finished. As we can see in the trailer above, the level sees Crash climbing outside of an evil lair filled with scientists, creepy grabby dudes, flying birds and a million moving platforms.

“The fan response to Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has been tremendous with the title landing at number one worldwide in physical game sales, even though it was only on shelves for two days in June. We’re thrilled that there seems to be a whole lot of people out there who love Crash as much we do,” Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision, said in a press statement. “To thank Crash fans, we’re excited to release Stormy Ascent, the infamous unfinished level from the original game for the very first time. And it’s free to fans for the first month. We look forward to watching some epic speed runs online!”

Stormy Ascent will be free to download for anyone with a copy of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy from now until Aug. 19. After that, the DLC will be available for $2.99.

If you want even more Crash Bandicoot, Dark Horse Comics has confirmed the release of The Crash Bandicoot Files: How Willy the Wombat Sparked Marsupial Mania. This 150-page hardcover book will reveal original designs and concepts for what would become the original Crash Bandicoot, and is expected to release in March 2018.

“We are proud to partner with Activision to share The Crash Bandicoot Files with Crash Bandicoot fans next year,” said Ian Tucker of Dark Horse Comics in a press statement. “We think fans will love seeing how Crash Bandicoot evolved from wombat concept to bandicoot execution, all in a beautiful hardcover book filled with never-before-seen art and filled with insightful commentary from the designers.”

There are three other Crash-related releases as well. A new CrashMoji app is available on iOS and Android, bringing emoji and sticker packs to your phone. A nine-inch vinyl Crash statue can be preordered at Best Buy for $69.99. Finally, Loot Crate will offer a Crash-themed box with an exclusive t-shirt.
