Starting Tuesday, Supercell began dropping hints about the latest features coming to the new October Clash of Clans update. While official Sneak Peeks have yet to begin, the company has been sending out small hints about what’s to come. Tuesday, on its official blog, Supercell announced new troop levels and balancing changes coming in the next update. Wednesday morning Supercell provided even more details about the update including the new Army Training tab redesign and Quick Train options, which should make preparing your troops for battle easier and more streamlined.

How Clash of Clans New Army Training Tab Works
The new update will include an army training icon on the left-hand side of the game screen. The new army training menu includes four tabs labeled “Army,” “Train Troops,” “Brew Spells,” and “Quick Train.”
The Army tab serves as a master organizer for all of your stuff. There you can see the troops and spells that are ready to use for your next attack. You can also heal heroes, edit your current army or request reinforcements from clan mates in the Army tab.
In the Train Troops tab, you can train all troops including dark elixir troops once you’ve built the dark barracks. To choose the troops you want to use in your next attack you simply tap on them and they are added to your current army. You can prioritize which troops get trained first by pressing and dragging on the troops’ icons to order them according to priority. The new update allows you to train enough troops for two armies at the same time. You will be able to tell which troops are part of your second army because they will be highlighted in red.
In the Brew Spells tab, you can brew elixir and dark elixir spells. Like with the Troops training tab, you can arrange the spells in order of prep priority, as well as prepare enough for a second army.
The best update out of all of these is the Quick Train tab. This allows players to create plans for up to three different armies, or quickly train the previous army you used with just one tap. Having the ability to store favorite armies and instantly train them takes a lot of the painstaking effort out of prepping armies for battle. Creating new armies to save is easy. You just have to tap on the “Create” button at the bottom of Quick Train tab.
