The final season for Call of Duty: Warzone is now underway and with it is a hefty update that features new weapons and quality-of-life changes.

New Weapons

Two new weapons have been added in Call of Duty: Warzone. The first one is a prototype energy rifle called the EX1. It is highly customizable and effective, especially in long-range engagements. It is available on the Battle Pass and can be unlocked at Tier 15.

The second weapon is called the RA 225 Submachine Gun. This SMG boasts a high fire rate and is perfect for those who want to rain bullets on their foes with ease. This gun is also available on the Battle Pass at Tier 31.

Quality of Life Changes

The developers implemented some much-needed quality-of-life changes in this patch as well. One of the things the developers addressed has something to do with Precision Airstrikes.

There’s been a lot of discussion about Precision Airstrikes lately, which prompted the dev team to do a detailed review of the system to make sure that it works as intended. The danger UI notification has been improved to be more consistent with where the Airstrike target is. Moreover, the issue where Precision Airstrikes would sometimes not hit the intended target has been resolved.

In addition, new functionality is added to the Quick Inventory Menu that allows players to easily toggle the Gas Mask on or off. Take note that this is only available if the player actively opts into the manual Gask Mask toggle in the settings.
