COD Black Ops Cold War received a big piece of content with Season 2 that went live a couple of days ago. Season 2 added a new time-limited event called Outbreak where you kill zombies in massive maps. The mode is extensive and contains its own story.

As you would expect from games nowadays, some bugs were added with the update. Treyarch released a small patch recently to deal with these bugs. Tooltips will now be shown correctly and NAGA animated Calling Card will be displayed accurately.

The game's stability in Outbreak mode is improved, especially regarding objectives, the Krasny Soldat, and the Dragon Relic. Some enemy bugs like Mimic teleporting and HVT Megaton not splitting have also been addressed. The update fixed as well the exploit where players would exit Holdout Objective early in Golova. PATCH NOTES

GLOBAL

UI:

  • Addressed various UI issues with tooltips and metadata not appearing correctly.

After Action Report:

  • Addressed an issue with the Naga animated Calling Card displaying incorrectly.

MULTIPLAYER

Operators:

  • Addressed a rare issue where a player’s Operator model could unintentionally appear invisible.

LEAGUE PLAY

UI:

  • Player rank can no longer display as "Rank 0" after completing Placement Matches and processing rank.

ZOMBIES

Outbreak:

  • Stability
    • Added various stability fixes for issues with Objectives, the Krasny Soldat, and the Dragon Relic.
  • Gameplay
    • Closed an exploit where the player could exit the Holdout Objective prematurely in Golova.
  • Enemies
    • Addressed an issue where the Mimic would teleport away after spawning from a Loot Chest.
    • Addressed an issue where the HVT Megaton would not split if hit by a vehicle.
