Brace Yourself Games’ Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the Necrodancer featuring The Legend of Zelda is coming to Nintendo Switch this June; are you ready for it?

During the Nintendo's Japanese Indie World presentation on May 31, the release date of Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the Necrodancer featuring The Legend of Zelda was announced to be June 2019. It was also added in the segment that you’ll be able to see it on the Nintendo Switch eShop. A new Cadence of Hyrule clip has also been revealed featuring Link using a variety of weapons, Zelda as a playable character, and even a boss that the protagonists will face.

If you’re wondering how these two games got tangled up with each other, founder of Brace Yourself Games, Ryan Clark, said in an interview with IGN that the fundamental connection between Crypt of the Necrodance and The Legend of Zelda is none other than music. “Being able to mix these two together into an awesome musical mashup of gameplay is definitely one of the most exciting points!” he added in the interview.

In this game, you play as Cadence, Link, or as Princess Zelda as you travel the overworld and dungeons in order to save Hyrule from peril. You move to the beat of 25 remixed The Legend of Zelda tracks, and you can attack, defend, and so on to keep ahead of the enemy bosses.

You must equip yourself with the well-known Legend of Zelda weapons and magic spells from the Crypt of the Necrodancer in order to defeat the Lynels and Hyrulean soldiers in all-out rhythmic combat. Prepare yourself to fight the hideous bosses of Hyrule that has been given stronger forms by magic.

Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the Necrodancer featuring The Legend of Zelda will be released sometime this month. If you’re a fan of Crypt of the Necrodancer or The Legend of Zelda, or even both, keep your eyes wide open for more updates. For now, tell us what you think about this upcoming game.
