The next major expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is coming out tomorrow. Dubbed The Siege of Paris, it is based on one of the most infamous battles in Viking history. It is available to owners of the Season Pass. Meanwhile, those who only have the main game can buy the expansion separately.

The expansion is set in Francia and has Eivor take on interesting questlines throughout the Frankish countryside. Players can look forward to a lot of new things like weapons, gear, abilities, and skills.

This new expansion also sees the return of the Infiltration Missions. Here, players are tasked with eliminating a designated target and have the option to choose how to go about it.

To access The Siege of Paris, players need to finish at least one of the two first narrative arcs available in England. It should unlock once players arrive from Norway. While in Ravensthorpe, Eivor stumbles upon some people from Francia who are bringing suspicious presents. Players eventually find their way over to Francia.

While there is no required power level to play the expansion, it’s suggested that players need to be at least level 200.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the 12th game in the Assassin’s Creed series. The game has players take on the role of the legendary Viking warrior known as Eivor Varinsdottir. She becomes embroiled in the centuries-old fight between the Assassin Brotherhood and Templar Order. There is of course a modern-day portion and here players follow the Assassin Layla Hassan, the one who relives Eivor's memories.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla let players relive the fighting style of the Vikings. One of the new things offered is the revamped dual-wielding combat system. Revamped as well are the progression and gear upgrade systems. There are also new gameplay features like assaults, raids, and even the settlement.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One. and Xbox Series X/S. Released in November 2020, the game has received generally positive reviews with critics giving praise to the world of Valhalla and the narrative.
