Ready for new games? Asmodee Digital

Video games publisher Asmodee Digital is releasing two new titles focused on the cooperative multiplayer experience. The first is Ember Knights, scheduled for release on Steam Early Access in the fall of 2021. This game will come out first on PC, followed by console versions at a later date.

The second game is Innchanted, also to be launched for PC and consoles. No release date has been given for this co-op game, however.

In a statement, Asmodee CEO Pierre Ortolan revealed that they are excited about publishing both titles. He added that the addition of the games comes at a time when they’re expanding the roster of titles. Ortolan went on to say that both games, especially with their multiplayer co-op focus, are sure to deliver fun and engaging experiences for family and friends.

Ember Knights

Ember Knights is being developed by Tiny Titans Studios and best described as an action multiplayer dungeon crawler. The game lets a maximum of four players take on the role of Ember Knights to save multiple worlds from being destroyed. Each Knight can use different weapons and magical abilities. In addition, the dungeons are procedurally generated, meaning gameplay is always fresh for each playthrough.

A free demo of Ember Knights is available at Steam.

Innchanted

Innchanted is being developed by DragonBear Studios. The game is a team co-op adventure where players manage an inn. You must brew potions, cook meals, stop monsters, and of course, serve customers before they become impatient. Making things difficult is the evil Wizard claiming the inn as his very own.

Since DragonBear is based in Australia, players can expect to see items in the game inspired by the indigenous culture and community of the country. The early preview version of the game has been well received so far and even selected as Australia’s finalist for UKIE’s EuroPlay Games Contest during Gamescom 2020. You can watch the trailer here.

So what do you think? Which one are you excited about trying out?
