It seems like FromSoftware doesn’t take a day off. After releasing its magnum-opus in 2022, the Japanese developer is coming back this year with another game. Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon received its very first gameplay trailer a few hours ago, and it showed combat between massive mechas on land and air. Players can expect thrilling boss battles and dynamic, omnidirectional battles.

Surprisingly, we won’t have to wait to get our hands on the title. Armored Core 6 will launch on August 25 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders for two different editions are also up and running.

The game will come in standard and deluxe editions. The former will only give players the base game for $59.99, whereas the latter will give players the base game and digital goodies, like exclusive digital artbook and original soundtrack, for $69.99.

There’s also a pre-order bonus for fans who are ready to spend the money before the launch. Purchasing any game edition before August 25 will grant them the following:

  • MELANDER C3 G13 Special Customization “TENDERFOOT”
  • MELANDER C3 parts set (early unlock*)
  • Emblem (early unlock*)
  • Exclusive AC Decal
(*Early Unlock: The parts set and the emblem can also be obtained by progressing through the game.)

PC fans will be happy to know that FromSoftware also released the official system requirements. Well, at least the minimum requirements are out.
