Arc System Works revealed its participation in EVO 2022. Fans can look forward to on-site activities, special guest moments, and even new announcements. The highlight is the panel to be led by Guilty Gear series creator Daisuke Ishiwatari.
All of these will be at the Arc System Works booth at the Bayside D Exhibit Hall, Booth P7. Of course, those who can’t attend in person can still enjoy the activities through livestreams.
Some of the activities happening at the booths include demo stations and exhibition matches for Guilty Gear -Strive-.
Guilty Gear -Strive- Panel
The Guilty Gear panel is titled “The Past, Present, and Future of the Guilty Gear series,” scheduled for August 5 and hosted by Mark “Markman” Julio. Joining the panel:
- Series Creator and General Director Daisuke Ishiwatari
- Guilty Gear Producer Ken Miyauchi
- Dev. Director Akira Katano
- Art Director Hidehiko Sakamura
- VP of the Dev. Department Takeshi Yamanaka
The panel is set to share more about Arc System Works, Guilty Gear, and its other games lineup. The lead development team is going to share some behind-the-scenes stories as well as unreleased archive materials across the creation of the Guilty Gear series. There’s also news and sneak peeks on what’s being planned for Guilty Gear -Strive- Season 2.
Of course, the panel will answer questions fielded through the community; it will be live-streamed on EVO’s Twitch channel.
Special Sessions
Daisuke Ishiwatari is also hosting autograph signing sessions on-site for the fans. He may even join the exhibition matches.
That’s not all since Arc System Works is also having the ArcLive livestream sessions from the booth where Daisuke is set to showcase live drawings in real-time.
Celebration
Arc System Works also revealed that the first-year celebration of Guilty Gear -Strive- continues at EVO 2022. In fact, the game has seen the highest tournament entries among different titles at the event. The competition at EVO 2022 also serves as the official launch of the Arc World Tour 2022.
