They say that the snowy weather is going to continue until January. In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, that's not a problem as everyone is invited to chill and have some frosty fun.

The seasonal event is known as New Year’s Snow. Here, players need to collect orchid ornaments by participating in different events around the campsite. In return, they can earn the snowy zen ball, snowy shrub, and orchid hairpin.

Meanwhile, the garden event for January is Tortimer’s Origami Party. Players need to go to their campsite's garden and plant pink paperennials. Once they bloom, they'll attract foldwings. Collect the creatures and bring them to Tortimer in exchange for rewards, such as the origami craft table, big red origami crane, and origami screen door.

So what else is happening in January? Things are about to get cold with the Frosty Scavenger Hunt. Items that can be earned are the snowflake garland, frosty-feast sweets set, and frosty-feast table. To get them, just collect frosty gyroidite.

The Fishing Tourney has players tasked to catch special tourney fish in the likes of the white puffer fish and the white ribbon eel. Doing so allows players to earn a glimmering ice bridge, glimmering ice hut, and glimmering ice arch, to name a few.

Finally, for Happy Homeroom, there are new event classes for January. Players need to use the items they’ve collected this month to practice their interior design skills. The two sets of the event classes are Glimmering Ice Plaza and Frosty Feast. As always, Lottie and friends are going to grade the designs, and those who pass get HH Material and HH Medals. Those who earn enough medals have their HH Rank go up.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is a free-to-play social simulation game released in 2017 on Android and iOS. It continues a series of social simulations where players interact with various campers, perform small tasks, engage in commerce, and decorate living spaces. In addition to different events, there are at least 1,000 pieces of furniture and 300 pieces of clothing and accessories available. There are even more than 100 animals to meet, each having quirky personalities.
