The 3D hack-and-slash action RPG Achilles: Legends Untold just received its first major update. Update 0.2.0 adds a lot of new things, including a new fearsome boss, as well as a highly requested feature.

Achilles: Legends Untold now has a map and minimap that follows the titular character wherever he goes. The minimap also shows you the shortest path that leads to your current quest objective, so you don’t have to waste time looking for it anymore.

A major update won’t be complete without a new boss. In Update 0.2.0, you will be fighting against Tydeus - a bloodthirsty brain-eating warrior who wields two blades, so sharp that they can inflict heavy bleeding if you’re cut with his attacks.

Evading his strikes is a must but that is easier said than done. That’s because Tydeus is somehow able to extend the range of his swords when he performs a powerful swing. He also has a jump attack and a sword throw for good measure.

If you’re not into boss fights, perhaps you are interested in doing Tartarus Rifts, also known as “The Arenas.” Several rift entrances are scattered throughout the world and you can enter them to engage in battle. The main objective is to close the entrances by completing a series of combat waves.

Here, you’ll fight hordes of monsters tainted with the underworld’s energy, making them stronger than your run-of-the-mill enemies.
