Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Launches New Collab with Top Gun

A new collaboration is now live in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, and it’s with none other than Top Gun. This newest collab introduces Top Gun -themed aircraft and emblems to the game. There are also “Top Gun Anthem” and “Danger Zone” in multiplayer. All of these are part of the Top Gun: Maverick Aircraft Set.

By now, it should be clear that this new collab celebrates the release of the film Top Gun: Maverick. It stars Tom Cruise and is a sequel to the 1986 film Top Gun.

In this new movie, it’s been thirty years since the events of the first film, and Pete “Maverick” Mitchell remains to be a test pilot while trying his best not to be promoted since that would mean no longer flying. He is then assigned to train Top Gun graduates for what seems to be a specialized mission.
