‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Behind The Scenes Clip Shows Hugh Jackman Slaying In Weapon X Gear [VIDEO]

X-Men: Apocalypse has been out for almost a month now and Bryan Singer has delivered fans quite a treat. With all the recent rumors swirling around claiming the third Wolverine movie will be titled Weapon X , it may not be such a coincidence the A-list director decided today was the day to give us a little tease for what’s to come.

The clip shows Hugh Jackman, dressed in full Weapon X getup, pushing away the first security guard, and stabbing the second through the chest with his claws. Jackman even does his classic terrifying Wolverine stare into the camera, pauses, then pulls his bloody talons out of the helpless man’s flesh.

A week ago Jackman’s stuntman, Alain Moussi, posted a photo to Instagram giving us a closer look of Wolverine sporting his crazy Weapon X headgear.

Set photos released earlier this week from Wolverine: Weapon X also appear to corroborate rumors X-23 will join the X-Men franchise on the big screen, ultimately replacing Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine when he departs next year. We’re still waiting on confirmation of Wolverine 3’ s two villains, Boyd Holbrook ( Narcos ) and Richard E. Grant ( Jekyll & Hyde ), the latter of whom is rumored to portray Mister Sinister.

Get used to Hugh Jackman’s new look because as of right now, Wolverine 3 is rumored to be some sort of mix between the Old Man Logan and Weapon X story arcs . Hugh Jackman’s final run with the claws hits theaters March 3, 2017.
