The PC version of Sackboy: A Big Adventure is as confirmed as one title can be without actual confirmation. Sackboy’s page on SteamDB was once again updated, this time with a picture of the game’s protagonist. This is another big piece of evidence that we can’t ignore anymore.

If you want to see the proof, then this is what you should do. First, visit the SteamDB page. Next, hover your mouse over the random numbers next to the “Added clienticon.” After doing this, an image of Sackboy should pop up just like it does with the screenshot below.

Sackboy’s PC release should be near, given how frequently the SteamDB page is being updated. But the chances of it arriving this year are astronomically low. The rest of 2022 is already filled with the PC release of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Sony will want to space out its releases to maximize profit.

Still, Sackboy isn’t the kind of game that will take sales away from the above two games. So, I could see Sony launching the title in November or December.

About the Game

Sackboy: A Big Adventure was originally a PlayStation 5 launch title but was released on PS4 as well. The game supports co-op up to four players and has received a positive reception from fans and critics.

Other PC Ports by Sony

Since 2020, Sony has opened its coffers to the PC community, starting with Horizon Zero Dawn. We have also received critically acclaimed titles like God of War (2018) and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. Several other games like Returnal and Ghost of Tsushima have been rumored, but we haven’t had any official confirmation yet. One game PC fans are begging for is Bloodborne, which Sony refuses to port or give a proper PS5 patch.
