Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 releases on the Nintendo Switch in September and Bandai Namco dropped a brand new trailer that highlights the different features of the Switch port of the popular fighting game.

The new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Nintendo Switch trailer shows the different ways to play on the hybrid console, including TV Mode, Handheld Mode and Table-Top Mode. But the best parts of the trailer highlight the Joy-Con functions and how players can perform some of the signature moves from the show.

Check out the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 features trailer below.

According to Bandai Namco, moves like the Kamehameha, Special Beam Cannon, Spirit Bomb and more can be performed using the Joy-Cons. This is similar to how Capcom allowed players to perform the Hadoken in the Street Fighter II port released earlier this year.

The Nintendo Switch version of the game will allow for a co-op mode with up to six players. This is similar to the online parallel quests available for the PS4 and Xbox One versions, but the Switch version enables play on a local wireless connection. Players can team up to defeat giant bosses and complete missions. The three-vs-three matches will also bring more cooperative gameplay aspects to Xenoverse 2 that weren’t present in the other versions.

Here’s all the features coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for the Nintendo Switch.

  1. TV-Mode: Play through the entire DRAGON BALL Xenoverse 2 storyline.
  2. Handheld Mode: Take DRAGON BALL Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch with you on the go!
  3. Table-Top Mode: Share the Joy-Con controllers and battle a friend on the same screen.
  4. Six player Co-op Mode: Team up with friends to take on huge bosses where cooperation and strategy are key to victory.
  5. Three vs. Three Online Matchmaking Mode: Form two teams of three Dragon Ball warriors and battle against each other for supremacy!

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will release for Nintendo Switch Sept. 22.
