Xbox Series X Confirmed To Launch This November

Some good news.
Some good news. Xbox

By now you’ve probably heard that the release of Halo Infinite is being delayed to next year. However, there is a silver lining. Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox Series X is officially launching this November. That’s not all, as the release is also going to include thousands of games that span four generations. There’s also going to be more than 100 games that have been optimized for the Xbox Series X.

In a blog post, Xbox said that they are planning to release more than 50 new games across generations that are optimized for the Xbox Series X. These include games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Dirt 5, Gears Tactics, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and Watch Dogs: Legion. Through Smart Delivery, players only need to buy these games once in order to play the best version.

There are also going to be new games developed for this new console and launching with Xbox Game Pass that include exclusives like Tetris Effect: Connected, Scorn, and The Medium, among others.

There are also more than 40 popular games that have been newly optimized in order to take full advantage of what this new console has to offer. These games include Destiny 2, Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and Madden NFL 21.

There’s also going to be a shared library of great games through the Xbox Game Pass. In the same post, Xbox said that “hundreds of developers are at work on new game for the Xbox Series X that will raise the bar for fidelity, speed, and immersion; and the best way to discover new games will be with Xbox Game Pass.”

Xbox Game Pass delivers a curated library of content not only for the console, but even for PC gamers. That’s not all, as starting on September 15, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members are going to be able to play at least 100 games from the cloud through their Android phone or tablet.

As mentioned there’s going to be thousands of games available across four generations of content. According to Xbox, this particular commitment means that players get to “have access to thousands of titles across four generations of content, from Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.” Not only that, the games have been improved like increasing resolutions up to 4K and applying anisotropic filtering in order to enhance image quality.

It’s no question that fans of Xbox have something to look forward to this November.
