Director Ava DuVernay just shared the first photos of the cast of the new Wrinkle In Time movie, a second adaptation of Madeleine L'Engle’s classic book of the same name, originally published in 1963.

If these photos are any indication, the film is on the path to be much better than the first, which L’Engle once told Newsweek, “Yes, I expected it to be bad, and it is.” It was.

The new Wrinkle In Time boasts performances from The Office’s Mindy Kaling as Mrs. Who, none other than Reese Witherspoon as Mrs. Whatsit and Oprah Winfrey in the flesh as Mrs. Which. Moonlight star Andre Holland is also seen in the photos, set to play Principal Jenkins.

As far as child actors, the film secured raw talent in Storm Reid (12 Years a Slave), Levi Miller (Pan), Rowan Blanchard (Girl Meets World, Spy Kids) and up-and-coming eight-year-old Deric McCabe will play the boy genius, Charles. Zach Galifianakis, Chris Pine, Michael Pena and Gugu Mbatha-Raw also have roles, but do not appear in the released photos.

If a Wrinkle In Time was one of your favorite childhood books, prepare yourself to experience all the feels while scrolling through the dozen behind the scenes pictures below.

In A Wrinkle in Time, Meg, Calvin and Charles search for Meg’s father, Dr. Alex Murry, with guidance from Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which.

A Wrinkle In Time arrives in theaters April 6, 2018.
