Watch Dogs Legion is now out on both current-gen consoles and PC. As you would expect from a new game nowadays, there is already a Day One update available. The update fixes several annoying issues and also improves the game’s performance, so we recommend that you download this before playing.
The Watch Dogs Legion day one patch update is already available on consoles. The PC version of the update will release tomorrow. The Watch Dogs Legion day one patch improves the framerate while driving. The constant crashes on PS4 and Xbox One have also been fixed. The game doesn’t freeze anymore when playing with controllers on PC. Legion now runs better on PC, and its framerate when playing with RTX GPUs is also increased.
Ubisoft is also aware of the crashes on older versions of Windows 10. They highly recommend that players update their Windows to at least version 1903 or 1909.

- Fixed a freeze when switching input controllers on PC
- Fixed sporadic crashes on PS4
- Fixed sporadic crashes on Xbox One/S
- Fixed an issue that could cause the game to crash when launched on a console set to TURKISH, INDONESIAN, GREEK, ROMANIAN, HUNGARIAN, VIETNAMESE or THAI languages
- Fixed an issue that could cause the game to crash on Xbox One X when selecting a certain option in the Into the Void mission
- Fixed an issue that could cause the game to crash when browsing through the Premium Shop tabs on Xbox One
We can definitely expect future patches as well. Legion will also release on both Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 when these consoles launch.
