Warframe Celebrating its 8th Anniversary

Warframe is celebrating its eighth anniversary and there’s a lot for everyone to enjoy. Several challenges are open for you to take on, contests to win, and even exclusive merchandise. As a gift, all players get the Rhino Dex skin for free, which is available until May 17.

Warframe was first released on PC back in 2013. The game has players control the Tenno, a race of ancient warriors that have woken up into Earth’s future. Developed by Digital Extremes, the game initially experienced slow growth, however, it has since undergone positive progress and become one of the studios’ most successful titles.

During this celebration, players get to earn Dex Weapons and Customizations that were offered in part previous anniversaries. To do this, they need to finish weekly Alerts which are:

• Week 1
  • Alert: April 19 at 2:00 p.m. ET to April 26 at 2:00 p.m. ET
    • Rewards: Excalibur Dex Skin, Dex Sybaris, and Weapon Slot
  • Credit Booster Weekend: April 23 at 2:00 p.m. ET to April 26 at 2:00 p.m. ET
• Week 2
  • Alert: April 26 at 2:00 p.m. ET to May 3 at 2:00 p.m. ET
    • Rewards: Dex Nouchali Syandana, Dex Dakra, and Weapon Slot
  • Affinity Booster Weekend: April 30 at 2:00 p.m. ET to May 3 at 2:00 p.m. ET
• Week 3
  • Alert: May 3 at 2:00 p.m. ET to May 10 at 2:00 p.m. ET
    • Rewards: Liset Dex Skin, Dex Furis, and Weapon Slot
  • Credit Booster Weekend: May 7 at 2:00 p.m. ET to May 10 at 2:00 p.m. ET
• Week 4
  • Alert: May 10 at 2:00 p.m. ET to May 17 at 2:00 p.m. ET
    • Rewards: Dex Raksaka Armor, Excalibur Dex in Action Glyph, and Excalibur Dex Noggle

Those new to the game can get a head start with the Initiate Pack, offered at 50% off until May 17.

Players can also get the Eight-Year Anniversary Merch Collection which features block print-inspired designs that highlight the new Rhino Dex skin. Preorder is accepted until May 21.

Finally, there is the Squad Take-Down Contest. Players must go out with their squad and go against their favorite boss. They then need to send a screenshot of their favorite showdown to have a chance to get Octavia Prime Access for the entire Squad. The contest ends May 6.
