Publisher Landfall Games has announced a mobile version for their hit comedy-action simulator Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, coming to iOS and Android devices at a yet-to-be-announced date. The publisher also confirmed that the Nintendo Switch version is still arriving this summer. To celebrate Totally Accurate Battle Simulator having announced its mobile ports, Landfall Games released a new trailer which you can check out below.

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator was first released (appropriately) on April 1, 2021, following a two-year early access period on Steam. The game is best described as an open-ended sandbox war simulator with hilariously over-the-top ragdoll physics. Totally Accurate Battle Simulator supports both single-player and online multiplayer battles. Gameplay consists mostly of buying available units and sending them out to battle against an opposing force, although everything that happens in the battle is out of your hands. To aid you in your bloodthirsty conquest, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator has over 100 different silly units to choose from; players can summon innocuous regular men, to sword-wielding battlers, bow-bearing combatants, and the like.

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator also features more advanced weaponry, such as tanks, cannons, longboats, heavy machinery, and elephants. The game also manages to cross over into the bizarre, with units like banana-suited men, and gigantic men laying chicken eggs – with the eggs themselves containing men. There’s also a grim reaper for those who want to master death and revolver-wielding cowboys for players who fancy themselves as shooters in the wild west.

The game boasts a rare Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam and is a mainstay in gaming meme culture, thanks to its overall outrageousness and accessible appeal. Its popularity and commercial success have led to Landfall Games exploring the formula in another genre, namely battle royale. In 2018, during the battle royale craze, Landfall Games released Totally Accurate Battlegrounds, a battle royale featuring the wobbly, googly-eyed men from Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. It combines the ridiculousness of unfeeling yet cartoony golems in a free-for-all battle royale experience that players can still play for free on PC via Steam.
