Eight teams are ready to fight it out to be crowned the new champion of the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor. Up for grabs is a prize pool of $300,000 and 500 Dota 2 Pro Circuit Points. The winner of this tournament will also qualify for the DreamLeague Season 11 tournament with its $1 million prize pool and 15,000 DPC Points.

The StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor is scheduled from March 7 to 10 and will take place in Kiev. For this tournament, no team received a direct invite. Each team had to go through the regional qualifiers.

In the Europe Qualifier, OG beat Vega Squadron 2-0 in the semifinals before sweeping Alliance in the finals 3-0. Under the CIS Qualifiers, Gambit Esports took the first slot by winning the Winner’s Finals. Team Empire had a chance but saw defeat at the hands of Old but Gold in the Loser’s Finals.

The China Qualifiers also provided two slots to the tournament with the first slot going to Royal Never Give Up as it swept Room 310 and Team Aster in the playoffs. Vici Gaming started its journey in the Loser’s Round and swept its opponents to earn the second slot.

Meanwhile, the North American Qualifier featured an upset as the Flying Penguins, led by Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao, won the Grand Finals despite starting at the Lower Bracket.

For the South American Qualifier, Team Odd dominated the team's opponents as the group worked its way from the Upper Bracket to the Grand Finals without experiencing a single loss.

The SEA Qualifiers saw four teams battle it out, with the Tigers revealing a surprise roster member: Danil "Dendi" Ishutin. The tournament saw Indonesian team BOOM ID end up in first place.

The winner of the StarLadder ImbaTV minor will get $125,000, 120 DPC Points, and a chance to join DreamLeague Season 11. ESL One Katowice 2019 champion Team Secret will be participating in the Major as well as MDL Macau 2019 winner Team Liquid.
