Fans will get their Jessica Lange fix in 2017 when the actress stars in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming FX anthology project Feud, according to publications including Variety and Deadline . FX has ordered an eight-episode season of the series, which will delve into famous rivalries in history.

Season 1 of Feud will follow the bad blood between actresses Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, who begrudgingly co-starred in the 1962 cult classic film What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? Lange will play Crawford while Susan Sarandon will play Davis. Other cast members of the anthology’s inaugural season include Alfred Molina, Stanley Tucci, Judy Davis and Dominic Burgess.

The show is based on the screenplay Best Actress by Jaffe Cohen and Michael Zam, according to Deadline. Developed by Fox 21 TV Studios and Plan B Entertainment, Murphy will produce the show alongside Brad Pitt and Dede Gardner.

Feud will begin filming in late 2016 and will debut on FX in 2017.

Feud is Murphy’s third anthology on FX, the others being American Horror Story, which will premiere its sixth season in October, and American Crime Story, which concluded its first season in April. Murphy is also known for the Fox horror comedy Scream Queens, the Fox musical drama Glee and the FX plastic surgery drama Nip/Tuck.
