Red Dead Online Weekly Update: Crime Missions Paying Out Double Rewards

Time for some dirty deeds.

Red Dead Online is still all about crime and this week is once again proof that it does pay. Crime missions are going to hand out twice the RDO$. These are for A Lit Fuse, Back Pay, Stagecoach Stickup, and Wrongful Property. To get started on these crimes, just look for Anthony Foreman, James Langton, Joe, or Sean Macguire.

Players who complete any of the Crimes mentioned will get an offer for half off select Boots. In addition, all Crimes and Opportunities let players earn twice the usual Ability Card XP. This is also a good week to play with friends since all Persistent Posse setup fees are waived.

This week as well, all players get 100 Express Repeater, Rifle, and Revolver Ammo for free. Meanwhile, Seasoned Players of at least rank 100 get a Treasure Map for free.

What else is happening this week? This is the last time to unlock all 25 Ranks of The Quick Draw Club No. 2. That’s because The Quick Draw Club No. 3 is arriving on September 7.

That’s actually pretty much it for the update. Yes, it’s rather small. Anyway moving on, the discounts offered are:

  • Work Horses (30% off)
  • Single Bandoliers (30% off)
  • Gloves, Chaps, and Half Chaps (30% off)
  • Tents (40% off)
  • Saddles (50% off)
  • Bears and Accessories at the Barber (50% off)

This brings us to Prime Gaming. Players who connect their Prime Gaming account to their Rockstar Games Social Club account this week get a reward for a free Vitalism Studies Pamphlet. Members also get an offer for half off an Established or Distinguished Naturalist Role Item of their choice.

Indeed, there’s not really much for this week’s update. Hopefully, we get more next week so start crossing those fingers.

Red Dead Online is a multiplayer action-adventure game that first served as the online component of Red Dead Redemption 2. It was later launched as a standalone game. It’s set in 1898, a year before the events of Red Dead Redemption 2. The game was first available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. After that, it became available on PC and Stadia.
