PC indie RPG Path of Exile finally released on Xbox One last summer. Now, developer Grinding Gear Games has announced a big Path of Exile expansion is coming soon. Check out the trailer for Path of Exile: The Fall of Oriath above.

"Atop the frozen peaks of Mount Veruso lies a way to return home, but the death of Dominus has left Oriath in turmoil," read the description. "Caught amidst the slaves revolting against their Templar oppressors, you are all that stands between the innocent lives trapped in Oriath the divine wrath of High Templar Avarius."

The new Fall of Oriath expansion will take you on a path of six new Acts. Beginning with Act 5, you begin a quest to ultimately confront the very gods of Wraeclast that have regained their divine powers since you've defeated the Beast.

It appears Act 5 is entirely new like Act 4. While the rest of the new Acts involve you returning to old places, GGG wants you to experience in a new light where your actions in the past has affected its state when you return. You'll fight new enemies, and most importantly of all, the gods.

Stay tuned as we expect to learn more in the months ahead. GGG announced Path of Exile: The Fall of Oriath expansion is slated to arrive June-July 2017.
