The Meadows 2016 Lineup: Artists And Ticket Availability Announced For Inaugural Music Festival

A new music festival is coming to New York City from the creators of Governors Ball. On Tuesday, Founders Entertainment announced the inaugural run of The Meadows Music & Art Festival , which will take place Oct. 1 and Oct. 2.

The Meadows will take place at Citi Field in Queens, New York. Headliners for the hip hop, electronic and indie rock music festival include Kanye West, The Weekend, Chase the Rapper and Kygo. Check out the full lineup below.

Tickets for The Meadows will be available starting June 23, with a presale day June 22. Two-day general admission tickets will cost $230, while VIP tickets will cost $495 and super VIP tickets will cost $1600. Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. EDT both days.

Outside of music, patrons can expect from The Meadows a “carefully curated food program and artisan cocktail offerings.” Graffiti installations will be among the art on display at the festival.

According to Founders Entertainment, the music festival stands apart from others because of its location at Citi Field, the types of artists performing and the time of year the event will take place. While there are many summer music festivals hosted in New York City, there are few hosted in the fall. However, The Roots recently announced a New York extension of The Roots Picnic , which will take place at Bryant Park, also on Oct. 1 and Oct. 2.
