A new update is coming to Marvel’s Avengers that introduces interesting new content. Patch 2.2 is launching on November 30 and brings a new four-player Raid where players can take on Klaw. PlayStation players get something extra with a new exclusive hero in Spider-Man.

The new Raid is titled Discordant Sound and it’s going to test everyone's teamwork. This new content follows the events of the War for Wakanda expansion. Klaw has returned to the Vibranium Mound with the plan of destroying Wakanda. It’s now up to Black Panther and the Avengers to stop him.

In addition to the new Raid, Patch 2.2 also brings these:

  • Shipments
    • This new feature gives players a new path to earn cosmetics, resources, and other items through gameplay.
    • Each Shipment costs 500 Units and pulls from a collection of almost 250 possible items.
      • There’s a small chance of rewarding a premium Outfit that’s unavailable through other means of acquisition.
      • Luck isn’t needed to get the Outfit. Players immediately get it after claiming 100 Shipments.
  • Power-Level Increase
    • The maximum Power Level achievable is now increased from 150 to 175.
    • Acquiring the best gear needs players to complete the game’s toughest challenge which is the new four-player Klaw Raid.
  • Gear Upgrading
    • Players can now recycle gear of a higher power level to upgrade their current gear to match the higher-power level of the consumed item.

Exclusive Hero

When the new update arrives, Spider-Man is going to swing his way to PlayStation. He arrives in the console through the Spider-Man: With Great Power Hero event, which can be played solo or with friends. Spider-Man’s combat abilities and unique movements are sure to make him an excellent addition to any Strike Team, especially those taking on missions in the Avengers Initiative.
