It’s starting to snow on Summoner’s Rift, which means that it’s League Of Legends Snowdown Showdown time. Riot has cooked up some delicious Poro Snax for you to munch on while unlocking new items and a whole new Hextech Crafting system.

Here’s everything you can get during the Snowdown Showdown event, which ends January 9.

Poro King Icon- Earned by playing Legend Of The Poro King at least once.

Dark Star and Star Guardian Poro Icons- 250 RP and give you a little costumed poro if equipped while playing Legend Of The Poro King.

Santa Braum, Snow Day Graves and Karma- 1350 RP, Legacy.

Santa Penguin Ward- 640 RP

Snowblower, Red-nosed Poro, Snowflake Icons- 250 RP

Snow Day Scuttler Icon- send any mystery gift by the end of the event.

Snowdown Crafting

Snowdown Sweets drop from any Hextech Chest during the event and can be used to unlock special icons that give you special emotes in-game. There’s something super gratifying about killing a jungler who got too greedy on a tower dive and spamming a Sad Amumu or a Hungry Poro above your head.

There are four chests in total that can be unlocked during this event. Winter Chests ( 125 RP) are just regular chests with slightly more Sweets in them. Legacy Chests (295 RP) contain one Legacy skin shard and one bonus Sweet. Snowdown Chest (295 RP) requires no Key and has at least one thematic skin shard and three bonus sweets. Each day, there’s a new theme, like stars or fire.

The final Hextech Crate cannot be crafted. Poro King’s Treasure Chest can only be assembled by collecting three Poro King Treasure Chest Fragments, which can only be obtained through purchased Hextech Crates. The chest is very special because it contains a Snowdown permanent skin, no need to craft it using essence.
