SEGA has just confirmed that the upcoming action-adventure game Judgment will be coming to PS4 on June 25. Judgment, which is a PS4 exclusive, has been out in Japan since December of last year, but the international version is still in development.

Following up on the Yakuza series, Judgment is set to have just as much action and adventure as the popular masterpeice Yakuza Zero, and the more recent Yakuza Kiwami. Judgment tells a story of crime and revenge, and has players taking on the role of private detective Takayuki Yagami. The game includes some familiar faces from the Yakuza series, including a Kamurocho Yakuza boss that you have the displeasure of dealing with in Yakuza Zero.

If you want to see what Judgment looks like so far, here’s the trailer for the upcoming international version, English dubbed and all:

Even though the game won’t be out until June 25, fans who pre-order digital copies of Judgment will be given 4-days early access so they can start playing the game from June 21 when it goes live on PS4. Physical copies, however, will be restricted to the June 25 launch day four days later.

Fans of the Yakuza series are dying to get their hands on Judgment, and so are we. Even though the game technically isn’t part of the Yakuza series, it does feature the same setting and the same dynamic feel, just with a brand new storyline and new characters to meet and get ridiculously attached to. True enough, Judgment looks and feels like Yakuza, only newer and with more bells and whistles. Just look at how polished this flying kick scene is:
