A unique jazz-inspired narrative adventure game is arriving on PC through Steam this spring. Blue Wednesday is a game that’s not only suitable for players of all ages but even all experience levels. They take on the role of up-and-coming jazz pianist Mr. Morris and have them experience the successes and failures as he exploits his talent for both fame and fortune.
The game takes place in Evans City. As Mr. Morris, you get to explore a city full of colorful and exciting characters and objects. The goal is to experience the life of Mr. Morris through interactions, cutscenes at key moments, and a series of at least 20 mini-games. As the journey moves forward, you’ll learn to play and master the piano as you collect items and know more about the rich and varied lives of other city-roaming characters.
Blue Wednesday offers a wide range of engaging and fun mini-games which appear based on the actions of Mr. Morris. Players can also interact with other characters and learn more about them and their stories, enabling them to collect magic objects.
Players can also obtain sheets of music but they have to choose wisely because their choices will shape the narrative and determine which albums can be collected, ranging from tango and bossa nova to cool jazz and modern jazz. Players are able to play them during rhythm games as part of the gameplay.
It’s also possible to collect rare music albums by helping other characters. Those looking for something more to do can even go through piles of old LPs in the back of a music shop. Be sure to collect albums from diverse musical genres and play them on the turntable. Don’t forget to listen to, as well as enjoy, rare albums hidden across the city.

Blue Wednesday is set to be released officially in May 2023. However, there is a chance that it may be available as early as March as an early access title. A free demo is currently available on Steam.
