Nowadays, small development teams are making some of the most interesting games, the latest example being A Plague Tale: Innocence and Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice. The next one to join the list is Hellpoint, which is set to launch on April 16 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It is being developed by Cradle Games and published by tinyBuild. tinyBuild is famous for publishing Hello Neighbor and its multiplayer component Secret Neighbor.

Cradle Games recently released a trailer that shows off the environment and some interesting looking enemies.

From what we have seen in the trailer, Hellpoint looks like if Dead Space and Dark Souls had a baby and I mean that as a compliment. The game is set on a space station where you will fight some terrifying looking creatures. Combat looks similar to Souls game, although it looks a bit clunky. That can be forgiven given that the game is being developed by a small team. The game will support a single-player mode, but Local and Online Co-Op have also been confirmed. Hellpoint was announced back in August 2018, and the devs also ran a successful Kickstarter campaign last year and were able to raise $64,500 Canadian Dollars.

Hellpoint is an intense action RPG taking place on Irid Novo, a derelict space station soaked in an intoxicating dark sci fi atmosphere," the official description of the game on Steam reads. "Fight dreadful creatures, face the Cosmic Gods and unravel their twisted story. Should the challenge be too great, play with a friend in local or online coop.”

Hellpoint definitely looks interesting and we will look forward to its release date in April. You can learn more about the game on its official website.
