Gundam Evolution has players fight in 6v6 PvP combat on three objective-based game modes: Point Capture, Domination and Destruction. The game offers players a unique set of challenges that need teams to craft and execute formidable offensive and defensive strategies to win matches.

In Gundam Evolution, each playable unit has its own unique mix of offensive, defensive, and supportive skills capable of turning the tides of battle. There are 12 units to choose from at the start, which include the classic RX-78-2 GUNDAM and the iconic ASW-G-08 GUNDAM BARBATOS. Additional mobile suits and customizable items can be unlocked in two different ways. The first is through Capital Points (CP), accumulated in-game through gameplay. The second is EVO Coins, available for real-world purchase.
In a statement, Bandai Namco Online Gameplay Director Ryota Hogaki shared that the game offers a combat experience unlike any other. That’s because of the various features like the powerful G-Maneuvers, high-speed Boost System, and unique skills available for each mobile suit. He added that the experience was honed through the player network test and across the development of the game. This is why they’re excited for players to finally experience the action.
Meanwhile, Bandai Namco Online Executive Producer Kazuya Maruyama revealed that they’re both honored and humbled to have finally launched the game worldwide by bringing together longtime fans of the series and those new to the franchise. He added that they’re confident no matter what the background of the player is, they’re sure to fall in love with the game.
The game is also set to be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, with the following schedules:
