GTA Online this week is offering players the ultimate plaything. Presenting the Rampant Rocket, a supercharged fantasy on three wheels. The update also obviously celebrates Halloween, but it's not all about that as there are also aliens.
Project 4808
This week introduces players to Project 4808, a long-rumored secret government program. Despite what conspiracy theorists do to reveal details, the FIB has managed to hide what little we know of the Project. However, the truth is now out there.
In this new Alien Survival Series, you get a chance to play as an extraterrestrial, going against waves of heavily armed NOOSE teams, FIB agents and the Marines across seven maps. With all Alien Survivals handing Double Rewards this week, it's all the more reason to be part of this event.
Podium Vehicle
It seems Halloween is all the rage in GTA Online as even The Diamond Casino & Resort is getting in on the fun. The usual chance to win GTA$, RP, clothing, and more, are still offered. There are also some special and ghastly offerings at the Casino Store that include Halloween-themed Sculptures, Wall Art and Masks.
However, the top prize in the Lucky Wheel is the LCC Sanctus. This Goth chopper is fitted with glowing red headlights and accelerates like a bat out of hell. Think Ghost Rider.
Halloween Bonuses & Benefits
This being Halloween, the streets of Los Santos are more gruesome that usual. Aside from the usual decorations and exclusive items, sightings of Peyote growing wild in the arid soils surrounding Mt. Chiliad have been reported. Authorities advise against eating the cacti, but when have they stopped you in the past?
To celebrate Double Rewards this week, some of the grisliest game modes like Slasher, Lost vs. Damned, Condemned, Come Out to Play and Beast vs. Slasher are all handing out Double GTA$ and RP beginning October 31 through November 6.
Specters of Halloween's past are also returning, like the Lurcher Hearse and Fränken Stange, along with Halloween Masks. All at a 35% discount.
