The first major update for Gran Turismo Sport’s addresses the game’s limited amount of content by introducing new cars to the game.  The GT Sport 1.06 November update adds three new cars to the game, and more offline modes. The update requires 1.29 GB of storage.

According to PlayStation blog , the update delivers the striking Zagato IsoRivolta Vision GT, the iconic Shelby Cobra, and the 2016 Audi R18 LMP1 car. The Zagato Vision GT concept boasts the historic design studio’s classic long hood, short deck silhouette and is the perfect subject for GT Sport’s Scapes photo mode. Next, the Audi R18 joins the Porsche 919 Hybrid LMP1 and the Toyota TS050 LMP1 to complete the trio of prototypes that competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans last year. Finally, the classic Shelby is only the second of two cars in GT Sport manufactured before 2001. It’s an interesting addition, but given its legacy, hardly a surprise.

The Gran Turismo Sport 1.06 update implements changes to the physics model as well. Handling is tweaked to make “stock commercial models” that have less grip feel more controllable. ABS is also tweaked to make the cars easier to control under braking. Finally, rear-wheel-drive vehicles will feel more stable under high-speed corners.

The final major changes in the 1.06 update is the modes available to players while offline: The Campaign Mode, Livery Editor and Scapes.

For Campaign Mode, Polyphony also tweaked the difficulty of the Driving School and Mission Challenges to better reflect the changes made to the physics model. The tweaks include changes to the ranking boards for Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Livery Editor now allows players to edit any vehicle in the garage, not just the currently selected car. What’s more, cars loaned for the Manufacturer’s Series events can also receive custom liveries.

Scapes adds “Autumn Leaves” to the featured collection. Scapes will feature additional Photo Spots as well.
