Bandai Namco is gearing up for the release of update patch 1.2 for God Eater 3 this Friday, March 15. This patch introduces a new Aragami named Amen-Ra. An Ash Aragami, Amen-Ra has a crimson horn made of highly concentrated crystal with two blazing orbs on each side.

That's not all that's included in the update. Players will now get certifications when completing higher difficulty missions, granting access to new rewards. The patch also adds a password for player created Assault Missions, giving them a layer of protection.

The update also adds a number of new cosmetic options. Players will be able to change the complexion of the characters they created. New hairstyles and accessories are also being made available. It's not just about players, as even NPCs have received new looks.

In terms of gameplay, the patch brings balance adjustments to the Aragami. Havakiri's AI and movement have been adjusted, and the devour attack frequency of Ash Aragami has been tweaked as well. Changes to the actions include lowering the charging time of each devour action and increasing the motion speed of the devour attack. Meanwhile, the knockback distance of "normal guard" and "perfect guard" have both been shortened.

The patch also makes adjustments to the Burst Arts “Hell or Heaven”. The Link Burst Rounds no longer disappear when touching a field. Similarly, the healing property module also does not disappear when taking the same action. Adjustments were also made to the motion speed of “begin to walk.”

More changes introduced with the patch can be viewed here.

God Eater 3 was released last February 8 for the PlayStation 4 and PC. Like the first two games, the latest iteration is an action role-playing game that has a hack and slash gameplay. In the game, players use God Arc weapons that can be turned to guns, and must use those weapons to kill monsters known as Aragami. Players are able to absorb energy from the monsters in order to dish out "burst moves." The game is rated 32/40 by Famitsu and has a Metacritic score of 71.

For the PC version, the recommended OS is Windows 10 64-bit with Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor. It needs 8 GB RAM with graphics either GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon R9 fury. The game is available on Steam.
