Amazon Prime Video's next season for "Fallout" is nearing its debut and the company has already confirmed the release date for the new episodes that are set for later this year. However, there is even more good news.
This is because there is already a confirmation for the show's Season 3, and the production team is not waiting for Season 2 to air to start work on the project.
While the "Fallout" series from Amazon does not adapt the story of a game from the franchise, it will soon be connected to future installments, as revealed by showrunners and Bethesda.
'Fallout' Season 2 Debut Date Unveiled
A new report from Variety reveals a lot about the series adaptation of "Fallout" from Amazon Prime Video following the news that filming officially wrapped out behind the upcoming season last week. The latest scoop reveals that Amazon Prime Video already has a release date for "Fallout's" Season 2, and that it will take place by December.
While it was not yet confirmed by reports if Amazon will drop all episodes come its release date, but this may be the case given how season one's eight episodes aired at the same time.
Moreover, it remains unknown what Season 2 holds for the entire "Fallout" fanbase when it arrives, but it is expected that it will continue the journey of Lucy, The Ghoul, Maximus, and more from the cliffhanger season-ender last year.
It has not been confirmed either if "Fallout" would dive more into the backstory of Lucy's father, the previous Overseer of Vault 33, and other branching storylines from Season 1.
Despite this confirmation, there is still no exact dates for "Fallout" Season 2's series debut on Prime Video.

It has not been revealed if production and filming for the third has now started, but nonetheless, this is great news for the fans of the franchise.
