Fable, Halo Wars 2 And More Join Xbox Game Pass On Feb. 1

Eight more games are joining the ever-growing list for the Xbox Game Pass on Feb. 1. Combined with the 10 added in January, the Xbox Game Pass will offer access to 172 titles in February.

There are some good games in the list of new additions, including a wide variety of different genres. Highlights include Halo Wars 2, Fable and Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition. The full list of new additions is as follows:

  • Riptide Renegade GP

  • Rime

  • Fable Anniversary

  • Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition

  • Letter Quest: Grimm’s Journey

  • NBA 2K17

  • WWE 2K17

  • Halo Wars 2

The full list of Xbox Game Pass offerings can be found right here. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can download and play anything on the list for as long as he or she maintains a subscription. Subscribers can also buy the games featured on Game Pass, along with any associated DLC, at a discount. Games are discounted by 20 percent, while related add-ons are reduced 10 percent. It should be noted that Xbox 360 games do not qualify for discounts.

Microsoft has included the original Fable for Game Pass, giving weight to rumors claiming that a return to Albion is in the works. Eurogamer is also claiming, via a reliable source, that Microsoft is interested in a new Fable a year after shutting down original developer Lionhead due to Sony’s success with Horizon Zero Dawn.
