This will be the first time since 2019 that Evo once again takes place in-person, owing to the global pandemic which caused problems for physical conventions worldwide. Besides confirming which games made it to the lineup for competitors, Sony also announced an Evo Lounge livestream that will feature “exciting content and reveals” from some major fighting game developers and publishers.

We can expect to see new content announced for these publishers and developers, and if you’re a fan of the fighting game scene, you will not want to miss Evo 2022.

For the games that will most likely be presented on the Lounge, we can expect new upcoming content for Guilty Gear -Strive- (Arc System Works), Granblue Fantasy: Versus (Arc System Works), Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate (Warner Bros.
