The first DLC for Escape Academy is a challenge for everyone. Escape from Anti-Escape Island introduces players to five new escape room levels, a new narrative, and more original music from Doseone. It’s now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
In this new DLC, you’ve managed to survive your first year of Escape Academy. You're now looking forward to a chance to unwind and relax with a nice summer vacation. However, the Escape Jet is shot down and crashes over an uncharted island. You now have to solve new escape room levels and see if you can conquer the next chapter of Escape Academy.
Escape Academy was released in July 2022 and introduces players to a school where students are trained to be the ultimate escapist. The game offers solo puzzles or two-player cooperative gameplay, available on a local or online split-screen.
Here are some of the escape rooms that players can encounter in the game:
- Attend a Tea 'N Tea Party
- You need to defuse the bomb before the tranquil cup of tea gets cold.
- Your grade, as well as your physical well-being, depends on it.
- Hack the Professor
- Solve a series of challenges and prove to the super AI of the Academy that you have the skills to become an Escapist.
- Go for the Gold
- Serve as the representative of your class in the sporting event known as The Rival Room.
- Go toe-to-toe against your nemesis in a puzzle race to show who deserves to be at the top of the class.
- Do Not Drown!
- You start at a puzzle tower but it's the kind that's rapidly filling with water.
- Scramble to the top to get that sweet, sweet oxygen.
- Spray Paint the Monument
- At the Academy, art class is never easy, so be sure to leave your mark on the historic Monument of Escape.
- Don't take too long since the Headmaster doesn't exactly approve of this plan.
Players can buy the Deluxe Edition, which has the base game, the original soundtrack, and Season Pass. The Season Pass offers two expansions with the first one being Escape from Anti-Escape Island. There’s also the option to purchase the expansion separately.
