The remaster of the critically acclaimed, Diablo 2, was announced a few days ago. The game is titled Diablo 2 Resurrected and will release sometime in 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Fans of the original game have been asking for a remaster for a long time, and this is one game that Blizzard can’t mess up. God forbid we don’t want another Warcraft 3: Reforged scenario.

The developer has promised that the remaster will stay true to the original game. The game will only receive a visual upgrade along with a few QoL changes. Multiplayer functionality and anti-cheat system will also be improved. Anyway, we will see all of those when the game actually launches.

PC System Requirements

The official PC system requirements were revealed too, and they are quite reasonable IMO.

Windows 10 is a must along with 8 GB of RAM and 30 GB of free storage space. To run the game on minimum settings, you will need either Intel Core i3-3250 or AMD FX-4350 paired with Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7850.

Fortunately, you won’t be needing RTX 3090 to play the game, not that you are gonna be able to get it anyway.
