If horror is your thing, then you'd better take a look at The Devil in Me, the fourth game in The Dark Pictures Anthology and serves as the season one finale. It's available on PC through Steam as well as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

In this game, players are invited to a recreation of the World’s Fair Hotel, one that was built by American serial killer, H.H. Holmes. Players control the crew of Lonnit Entertainment, low-budget documentary creators persuaded to come to the hotel with the promise of getting something unique. The crew also hopes that this might just be what they need to increase the ratings of their true crime show.

Indeed, the fate of the crew is in the hands of players because they make impossible decisions, and most of them are under pressure. At the same time, their murderous host is watching their every move.

In addition to a new story and a star-studded cast, this season one finale offers a wide range of new gameplay features. The explorable areas, for example, are larger and more complex than ever. Characters are now able to climb, jump, run, and even crawl. Players can also look forward to the game's new inventory system and special character tools, which when used at the right moment, can save the lives of the crew.

Similar to other games in The Dark Pictures Anthology, The Devil in Me gives players the option to face the horror alone or with friends in multiplayer modes.
