Clash Of Clans updates have been slow in 2017, but a new leak has provided some much-needed excitement for fans. Amirnilchi137 of the game’s official subreddit has extracted Shipwreck details that tease a multi-village feature in the future.

As seen in the screenshots below, the main addition here is the known Shipwreck asset with a few extra buttons below it. Assuming it’s used the same way when released to the public, players will have the option to use the ship to change villages and gather more information about the craft’s current location.

With regard to what this might mean for Clash Of Clans ’ next big update, that’s a little hard to say. In the current game, it’s not easy to have several separate villages functioning on a single device. In other words, if you want to experiment with multiple different Town Hall levels or layouts at the same time, it’s basically impossible. From what we can see, maybe the Shipwreck affords us that ability. Similarly, it might also offer players greater access to the villages of other users in their clan.

It doesn’t seem unreasonable to think a second village may even function as an additional resource hoarding area separated from a main base.

Of course, as with any unconfirmed leak, there are a few crazier theories to think about too. Some players believe that maybe the ship offers a way to connect your Clash Of Clans village to Boom Beach or Hay Day servers. Something like that would require a major infrastructure change and lots of time. Supercell has been quiet for a while, so maybe its developers managed to pull off that amazing feat.

Without official details, the speculation about the Clash Of Clans Shipwreck concept is essentially endless. Thankfully, however, we imagine Supercell might have an answer to our questions very soon. While still unconfirmed, the general consensus is that the next big Clash Of Clans update might go live later this month.

In terms of substantial adjustments, the last Clash Of Clans update arrived during the holiday season with slight balance changes and limited-time holiday gifts.

Clash Of Clans is available now on Android and iOS.
