Good news for those who want to get a collectible version of this game, as Microids also announced a separate physical release for Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo available exclusively on consoles. It is now up for pre-orders, and will include the following bonuses:

  • The standard edition of Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo for PS5, PS4, Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S or Nintendo Switch
  • The 48-page official artbook The Art of: Alfred Hitchcock- Vertigo and its digital version
  • Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo’s digital original soundtrack, composed by Juan Miguel Martín Muñoz (Blacksad, Yesterday Origins)

Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo, while heavily influenced by the iconic horror thriller of the same name, features a very different story. It tells the story of Ed Miller, a writer who mysteriously comes out unscathed from a terrible car crash somewhere in Brody Canyon, California. A subsequent investigation seemingly revealed that no one else was inside the car wreckage, even throughout Ed’s insistence that he was traveling with his wife and daughter. What follows next is a mystery wrapped in a web of madness, as Ed begins to suffer severe vertigo in his investigation as to what really happened in that car crash.

Besides the original story, Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo also features three different narratives to explore from three different characters, each with their own story to tell. The game allows for the exploration of several timelines to cross-check the events and ultimately extract what’s real from distorted memories.

Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo is the latest mystery title from Pendulo Studios, a rising developer best known for its other works in the genre. This most notably includes Blacksad: Under the Skin, a narrative detective adventure game featuring anthropomorphic animals in the underbelly of a neo-noir city.
