Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is set to release for the Wii U in North America and Europe in June and Nintendo has released a brand new story trailer for the upcoming JRPG focusing on one of the main characters, Tsubasa.

In the latest Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE trailer, we see Tsubasa’s origin story: five years prior to the start of the game, a young Tsubasa survives an attack on the music hall from Mirages.

We also get to see Itsuki and Tsubasa interact as they become Mirage Masters and learn to fight against the Mirages that want to steal people’s Performa.

Between the story elements, we see gameplay footage of Itsuki walking around the overworld, entering dungeons and fighting some Mirages. There’s also a ton of cutscenes in the latest trailer for your viewing pleasure.

A pretty big story element appears toward the end of the Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE story trailer, revealing the reason Tsubasa is after Aversa, the villain of the game.

We got to have some hands-on time with Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and we enjoyed it a lot. In the game, Tsubasa was more of a support character. However, she can definitely hold her own in battle.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE will release June 24 for the Wii U.
