Tomorrow is patch day in League of Legends , which means it’s time for a PBE update. This is our first real look at the Blood Moon skins teased yesterday and over the weekend. Just take a look at that gorgeous Diana splash and try not to get excited about all the awesome BM skins coming in patch 7.3. Thank you Moobeat and Surrender@20.
Blood Moon Jhin and Talon don’t have official splashes yet, but Twisted Fate does and it’s enough to send shivers down your spine. It looks like cards are part of some cabalistic ritual, which turns TF from some undercity huckster to an actual villain. These may be my favorite set of Blood Moon skins and I was sure nothing would ever beat my little electric yordle, Kennen.
These skins still have no pricing structure yet, but expect them to cost at least 975 RP, considering they get new VFX and recall animations.
There’s also code for an “Assassin Mode” on the PBE client, but right now it’s just a bunch of jumbled code. It looks like kill streaks will be rewarded, giving out special buffs whenever someone is hurt or gets killed. If it’s just a bunch of Rengars and Katarinas running around Blood Moon Summoner’s Rift, stacking up as many kills as possible, then I’m really excited.
