The next part of NetherRealm Studios’ Shattered Alliance series of videos for Injustice 2 has been released, dropping more hints about the story of this fighting game sequel, along with the reveal of new and returning characters.
Green Arrow and Green Lantern are back for Injustice 2 as we see in the Shattered Alliance Part 2 video and we get to see the debut of the Reverse Flash.

The circumstances of Green Arrow’s return in Injustice 2 are unknown, considering he was dead in the first one. However, the cutscenes we do see can be from flashbacks and the events leading to the beginning of the first Injustice game.
Green Lantern Hal Jordan’s story continues from the first game as he is seeking redemption for joining Superman in the first place. He says that the Guardians of Oa have put him through a lot to atone for his sins and it seems it has to do with Atrocitus and the Red Lanterns.

On the villains side, we see The Flash also mentioning how he failed to be a hero when he joined with Superman. We see a quick shot of the Reverse Flash as the two speedsters run through the streets. This doesn’t confirm Reverse Flash as a playable character but there’s a big possibility that he is.
There’s a point where Grodd is shown leading a rally with a bunch of other villains. We see Cheetah, Poison Ivy and what looks to be Bane’s new look in Injustice 2. There's also another character that looks like Captain Cold.
