Clash Of Clans festivities continue with the announcement of weekend Clan Games from Jan. 5 through Jan. 8. While the reward tiers and length aren’t quite as extensive as the previous games, there’s still a lot to accomplish in the coming days. Here are the full details courtesy of a forum post from Supercell Community Manager Darian Vorlick.

  • The weekend games will last three days
  • There will be eight visible challenges at a time
  • Point cap per player is 2,500 points

Here are the reward tiers:

  • Tier 1: 2,500 points
  • Tier 2: 5,000 points
  • Tier 3: 7,500 points
  • Tier 4: 12,500 points
  • Tier 5: 20,000 points

If you’re looking to get Magic Items to speed up the game, you’ll need to work your way all the way up to Tier 4. Potions, which are more tuned to power and efficiency, will be rewarded at Tier 5. Given the lack of specificity, we imagine varying loot caches are available for completing enough challenges in the remaining three tiers.

What we’re seeing with these weekend games is essentially something in between the smaller scale of the first Clan Games and the expanded Greater Clan Games that kicked off at the end of December. There aren’t two versions of the games this time, however, so everyone will be competing on the same parameters. That means you’ll need a clan of at least eight players to obtain the maximum reward.

For those new to the Clan Games scene, they’re essentially the Clash Of Clans version of the Clan Chest from Clash Royale. Clans compete challenges that involve playing various modes or using specific army compositions. Each completed challenge yields points that add up to the grand total for each tier. The more tiers your clan is able to complete, the bigger the reward will be. Larger clans will have an easier time passing the threshold, but there’s enough here for smaller ones to get a piece of the action too. In fact, you can even play alone if you’re OK with sticking to Tier 1. There will likely be plenty of adjustments made to Clan Games as this new feature continues to find its legs, but the community has mostly enjoyed the initial rollout.

Clash Of Clans is available now on Android and iOS.
